Discussion on Hydrographic Coorporation between South Korea and Sri Lanka
Mr. Ki Su Lee of South Korea, the Secretary, Peaceful Unification Advisory Council South West Asia Chapter visited office of the Sri Lanka Navy Hydrographic Service (SLNHS) at National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency (NARA) premises on 13th October 2021 to discuss Hydrographic Cooperation between Sri Lanka and South Korea. Visit took place on the invitation of Rear Admiral YN Jayarathna, Chief of Staff and Chief Hydrographer of the Sri Lanka Navy and both parties agreed to strengthen hydrographic relations between the two countries. The South Korea has provided training assistance to Sri Lanka Navy Hydrographic Service in recent past and visit expected to further strengthen technical cooperation on Hydrography.
