UKHO Delegation calls on Chief Hydrographer of the Navy
United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) delegation headed by Mr. Tim Lewis, Head of Partnering and Engagement Middle East and Africa of UKHO call on Chief Hydrographer of the Navy Rear Admiral YN Jayarathne at Navy headquarters today.
The UKHO delegation visit Sri Lanka to conduct awareness/production training programme on S-57 Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) from 23rd November 2021 to 10th December 2021 as part of bilateral hydrographic agreement between United Kingdom and Sri Lanka. The Chief Hydrographer welcome delegation to Sri Lanka and explained on present progress of Hydrographic affairs of the country and appreciate the UKHO cooperation in hydrographic development of the Sri Lanka. Mr. Tim Lewis thank to Chief Hydrographer for the support rendered during arranging the Training Programme.
Colonel David Ashman, the Defence Advisor to British High Commission and Mr. Jeromy Jeremy Kitchker, International Training Manager of UKHO also presence during the meeting.
