The Chief Hydrographer to the Sri Lanka Navy meets the officials of the Ministry of Defence
The Joint Chief Hydrographer to the Government of Sri Lanka and Chief Hydrographer of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Prasad Kariyapperuma met the Additional Secretary of Defence Mr. RMPS Rathnayake , Senior Assistant Secretary(Defence-III) Mr. Harsha Withanarachchi, Senior Assistant Secretary(Defence-IV) Mrs. Mayuri Perera and Assistant Secretary(Defence-II) Mrs. Sachini Dissanayake on 19th August 2022 at the Ministry of Defence after assuming duties at the Naval Wing of the National Hydrographic Office, NARA.
The ensuing discussion between them focused on important matters related to the field of Hydrography and the forthcoming North Indian Ocean Hydrographic Commission (NIOHC) session in Bali, Indonesia. The cordial meeting drew to a close with an exchange of mementos, as a token of goodwill and cooperation.
